What this site is

FBA Tactics publishes operational reference material for people selling on online marketplaces: fee structures, policy changes, cost arithmetic and calculators. It is published by HR Expressand funded by display advertising.

Information, not advice

Everything here is general information. Nothing on this site is tax, legal, accounting, financial or investment advice, and no reader relationship creates a professional relationship of any kind. Your circumstances, your jurisdiction and your marketplace account terms are specific to you. Consult a qualified professional before acting on anything that matters.

Figures change, and some of them are already wrong

Marketplace fees, tariff rules and platform policies change on the platforms' own timetable, often without notice to sellers. Every rate published here carries the date it was checked and a link to its source for exactly that reason. A dated figure is a record of what was true on that date, not a guarantee of what is true today.

Where published sources disagree with each other, we say so rather than picking one silently. Where a figure is illustrative rather than quoted from a rate card, it is labeled illustrative. Verify anything material against the marketplace's own documentation before you price against it, place an order against it, or make an inventory commitment on the strength of it.

Calculators

The calculators run in your browser and are provided as-is. They apply the arithmetic described on each page to the numbers you enter. They do not know your category's referral rate, your negotiated freight rate or your account's fee schedule, and they are not a substitute for the fee preview tools inside your own seller account.

Downloads

Spreadsheet templates offered here may be downloaded and used, including commercially, in your own operations. You may not redistribute them, resell them, or present them as your own work.

Do not attempt to interfere with the site's operation, scrape it at a rate that degrades service for others, or use it for anything unlawful.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, tell us and send the source. Corrections are made in place with a dated note and logged on the corrections page. Nothing is edited silently.
